Did you know that about 40 Americans die of cardiovascular diseases every minute? The main risk factors for cardiovascular disease are high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, obesity, and being physically inactive. Fortunately, heart disease is significantly decreasing in 40 of California’s 58 counties.
Still, people may have an undiagnosed cardiovascular condition and do not know until it’s too late. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in order to reduce your chances of heart disease it is helpful to: quit smoking, know your blood pressure, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you should be tested for diabetes, checking cholesterol and triglycerides, limiting alcohol, lowering stress level, and making healthy food choices.
Join us as we fight to end heart disease! We are raising awareness and funds for the victims of heart diseases, in support of efforts to educate the public and the medical community about cardiovascular health.
Our agency will donate $10 towards supporting victims of heart diseases on your behalf for every recommendation you send our way, and we’ll add you to our monthly drawing for a $50 Gift Card.
Getting involved has never been so simple, or Free!
